The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The dining and pool area spectacular. And the location to resturaunts, Biesanz beach, Quepos and Manuel Antonio very convenient. We will stay at the Souss on our next visit to Costa Rica.

Lay out and design of the room. Clean and modern.
The stopper of the bathtub did not work, so we never got more then 2 inches of water in the tub

The breakfast spread was a good fiesta of fresh fruits and local dishes, fueling each day's adventure! Plus, the monkeys swinging by our balcony each afternoon added an epic touch to our stay. And don't forget the lovely sunset views-pure bliss!
On the flip side, options at the restaurant felt a bit limited with a lack of local flair. The steep trails made it a workout just to get to the beach and back, which can be a drag for those less spry.

The jungle view from our balcony was very nice, and mornings were a delight watching monkeys swing by. The breakfast was a highlight, offering fresh fruit and a great variety each day. Our family enjoyed exploring the nearby beach, which seemed like paradise.
My wife says that it would be great if the restaurant had more affordable dining options for families.

Fine hotel, amazing views, beautiful infinity pool
Some furnishings could use an upgrade, missing basic amenities like tissues and a kettle!!! A chilly room with air conditioning issues really took away from the overall experience. Disappointing!!!

Getting to the beach involves a steep and somewhat challenging trek, which might not be suitable for everyone, especially after sunset when there's no lighting. Despite the clean rooms, some felt basic compared to what you might expect from a four-star hotel.

The view from my room was amazing. Monkeys visited daily, bringing joy to my mornings. The breakfast spread impressed me each day, with fresh fruits and delicious local dishes fueling my adventures. The pool area was a perfect spot to relax, with a beautiful forest view. Staff provided excellent service. I had some great interactions with them, especially enjoying happy hour at the bar. The steep trails between the room and the restaurant felt challenging at times, especially after enjoying a cocktail. The beach access also involved quite a hike, which could be tough for those with mobility issues. Though the food at the restaurant was good, I felt the options lacked a bit of local flair. The fine views and friendly staff were nice.

The delicious ceviche for dinner was a favorite! The pool area was perfect, and we really enjoyed relaxing in the sun loungers after exploring the beach. The only thing to note is the music from the bar was a bit loud during the day, but it didn't ruin our fun 🌞
